Showing Agreement
Client Information
A showing agreement is a contract between a real estate buyer and an agent who may not represent the seller but has a potential buyer interested in viewing the property. This document grants the agent the right to show properties to the buyer for the duration specified in the agreement. It's an essential tool in real estate transactions, particularly when dealing with properties not officially listed on the market or when an agent is working with a buyer in a non-exclusive capacity.

Showing Agreements are NON-EXCLUSIVE contracts. Buyers who sign a Showing Agreement with one agent are not obligated to work exclusively with that agent. The primary purpose of the Showing Agreement is to document the mutual agreement between both parties to view properties within the specified timeframe.

No problem at all! Simply sign another showing agreement with your current agent or a new one. The period specified in the agreement is not exclusive. It's a mutual arrangement between the agent and the buyer to view properties within the agreed-upon timeframe. If the time expires, a new agreement will need to be signed.
